Monsieur Spoon - Canggu, Bali

“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day”
Who’s agree?????!!!!???!!!!!!

For some reasons, I’m totally agree with that. Breakfast is the first meal that you eat before start your day. That’s why we need to have a good breakfast, not just good in taste, but it also need to be healthy. Everytime I travel, I always looking for a good place for breakfast. When I was in bali, I found a great breakfast place, which located in Canggu, at the north of Kuta. It’s Monsieur Spoon.

If you never heard about Canggu, let me tell you little bit about this place. Currently, Canggu become a favorite area for tourist, especially for those who are looking for a place with quite ambience. As you know, Kuta, Legian, and Seminyak is always crowded and some people don’t like it. Located not far from Seminyak, Canggu become a good place for escaping from that crowd. In Canggu, there’s a plenty of cafe with great food, surrounded with paddy field which is perfect for relaxing your mind. This ambience is one of many reasons that make Monsieur Spoon become a good place for having breakfast.

The other reason that makes Monsieur Spoon so special is their dishes. Monsieur Spoon offers delicious pastry which can’t be missed. It’s freshly made everyday, and taste so yumm. However, if pastry is too light for your breakfast, you can order other dishes from their menu which also tasty such as salad, crepes, and many more.

Not just for breakfast, Monsieur Spoon is also great to have an afternoon break. They have a good dessert, which looks very tempting, especially for a sweet-addict. Macarons, cheese cake, mille feuille, what could be better???

If you wanna try their pastry but you think Canggu is too far, you can visit the other branches of Monsieur Spoon which located at Umalas, Petitenget, and Seminyak.

Red Outfit for Chinese New Year

Hey dear!!!!

I gonna share with you about my outfit for the last Chinese New Year. First of all, I wanna say “Happy Chinese New Year”, for everyone who celebrate it. Hope you have a wealthy and prosperous year on this "Year of Dog".

Well, it’s been a tradition in my family (I thought everyone too), to wear new clothes at Chinese New Year day. Not just outfit, we also use a new bedsheet and towel in this special day. For some reasons, we believe it will give us a new luck at the new year.

Chinese New Year identic with red color. Yess, it is. It makes most peoples wear red outfit when celebrating Chinese New Year. However, it's not happened to me. I never wore red outfit at CNY before because i feel not confident in wearing bright color outfit. But this time, i found a beautiful dress, in red color, but it’s not bright at all. It’s little bit dark, more like maroon.

I bought this dress from Topshop, one of my favorite clothing brand. It looks chic and elegant with lace fabrics, and i love it!! For the shoes, I used nude color shoes from Melissa X Karl Lagerfeld. Perfect with the dress..

Anyway, for my lips, I used Kylie Lip Matte in Kristen from Kylie Cosmetics. It supposed to be has a bright red color with some orange touch. But I don't know why it looks darker on my lips. Do you think so???

Houbii , Let the Kids Jump

Rope Course at Houbii

Hi readers!
Finally i have a time to write a new post on my blog. After came back from Japan trip at early January, I’ve been busy to take care of Winston (he was sick at the next day we arrived at home), unpacking and tidy up all of our stuff, and i also quite busy with Aurelia’s school tasks. There were many things that i need to do, so I need to postpone my blog activity.

Winston likes to play at the foam pit.

Today is weekend, and that means it's a good time to spend quality time with your family. As a parents, do you have any plan to spend this weekend with your children??  If go to shopping mall is the only plan, and you start to think it’s boring, i’ll tell you a new place which is more fun. Not just for children, but for you as well. It’s Houbii, the first urban adventure park in Jakarta.

Wall climbing with foam pit underneath. It's totally safe if you fall down.
Houbii is an indoor park with many activities in it. It's just opened last year, at Pondok Indah - South Jakarta. It’s located right across Pondok Indah Mall 2 (next to Pondok Indah Mall 1), and it’s easy to be spotted. Basically. This place “designed” for older children, who likes to do sports especially in jumping. This is one thing that all children will love. Most of this area has trampoline, starts from the dodge ball arena, slam dunk arena, and many more. I would say this is a trampoline park, and it’s a paradise for children. Get tired to jump, you can try other activities such as rope course, ninja course, wall climbing, or maybe the extreme slide, a 90 degrees slide which you must try if you like to do an extreme sports. It’s really fun, not just for kids, but also for adults.

I visited this place with my children last month to celebrated Aurelia’s friend birthday party. It’s my first visit and I like it. First thought when I looked this place, it looks unsafe for Aurelia, who never been to this kind of place before. It’s really huge, and i was afraid if something happened with her, nobody would see. But when I came in (to play with Winston), I realized that it’s totally safe. There are many "Captain" in every corner, who always ready to give help for your children. They also can teach your children how to play if it’s the first time for them. To ensure the safety, every guests required to wear a special socks with extra grip. So it won’t be slippery when you’re jumping or climbing. For the little one, there's a special zone which is "designed" for younger children.

The ticket price for 120 minutes costs IDR 225k for both children (above 110cm heights) and adults. If your children is under 110cm heights, you can pay with junior ticket price which costs IDR 180k. To avoid the crowd, Houbii give a limitation for every batch, with maximum 300 peoples. A new batch will be opened every 15 minutes. You also can buy the ticket online, so you can get a spot at the time you want, especially on weekend and public holiday. If you feel hungry, don't worry, there are cafes at the second floor to fill your tummy after playing.

Well,,, still thinking to spend your weekend at mall?? Or you choose Houbii and let the kids jump??? Anything you decide I just want to say, “Have a great weekend^^”
