I don't know whether it's because October is "my month" or maybe because of other reasons, but I feel be more productive start this month. I've finished every job that has been postponed for weeks, and also I started to write my blog again. Actually still there are so many topics to be written on my blog, but I still want to continue write about the eye treatment. If you have read the previous post, you'll see some "recommended products" for eyes. I won't write about another product at this post. Instead, I'll write specifically about one of those product - Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask.

With no doubt, I would say that Laneige is my favorite brand for skincare. The formula on their products really hydrating my dry skin, and its brightening products also really show an improvement. For this good quality products, the price is very reasonable. That's the reason why I always repurchased their products. Lately, I just add their new product into my skincare routine. Yup, as written above it's the eye sleeping mask. 

At the first time I didn't believe with this product. However, since I've tried the lip sleeping mask (which is amazing) and I also have the travel size, I decided to bring it when I was traveling to Canada. As you know, the time difference between Canada and Indonesia is very long and it made my sleeptime really a mess. By that time I used this mask every night, and surprisingly my eyes wasn't look too tired - unlike when I was not sleeping because of Korean drama. Looking at its great result, I decided to add this product into my skincare routine and by the full size.

First impression when I see this product, it looks elegant. The bottle made from glass - not a plastic. When I openned it, I found out the applicator was made from ceramic ball and it has a cooling effect while you use it around your eyes. It's a huge plus point from me because at the travel size, it only use a plastic bottle with pump. While applying the mask around my eyes, I like to give a "little massage" by doing a circle motion with the ceramic ball.

When you use this Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask, do not think it will be show an instant result. Every skincare need a process and you need to use it routinely to see the result. Will I repurchase this product? OF COURSE!! As long as there's no other product with this function, I'll stay with it and put it in my night skincare routine.

Hi beauties, how you've been lately?

Did quarantine make you have enough time to sleep and take a rest at home? Or instead, it made your sleep time being disorganized? For me, this quarantine life really "destroyed" my daily routines especially my bedtime. At the beginning, I slept late because of watching Korean drama. I had no idea what should I do at that time so I just keep watching TV series (especially Korean drama) on Netflix day and night. After couple months, I have a new desire to build a new business. So I was working on it until midnight, and even sometimes I didn't sleep because I had a lot of things to do. At the end, I realized that my eyes looks very tired. I could see my dark circle was getting worse and I hate to see it.

Well, I realized it's not only because of my new "job". As I was saying at the previous post, I didn't take care of my skin at all during quarantine. I was too lazy to do it. But looking at how bad my skin was, I tried to fix it and started to do a complete skincare routine again. But this time, I’m not gonna write about my full skincare routine. Instead, I will write about treatment that I do for my eyes. I have 3 favorite products for tired eyes, and I will write about it completely below.

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Creme

Eye cream is the most basic treatment for eyes, and it's something that you must use everyday. Eyes is the part of your face that get aging rapidly. Some peoples -including me- got aging signs such as dark circle and fine lines around eyes at the young ages. Therefore, eye cream is as important as other skincare. I’ve tried many eye cream before, and currently I fell for Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Creme. With Vitamin C and collagen as its ingredients, this eye cream can solve any problems around your eyes such as dark circle, wrinkles, and puffiness. It’s really good especially if you don’t have enough time to sleep which cause your eyes looks tired. 

Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask

Have you ever use sleeping mask on your night skincare routine? If you have, you must be know how it is work during your bedtime. I never forget to use sleeping mask twice a week, and I love the result which make my skin very hydrated. Sleeping mask works really well while you sleep and give extra hydration. That's what I got by using Laneige Sleeping Mask at night. Being success with sleeping mask product, Laneige has launched another great products which are Lip Sleeping Mask and Eye Sleeping Mask. I've write the review about how lip sleeping mask solved the problem at my lips, and now I gonna write about eye sleeping mask.

Like other "sleeping mask" products, I use eye sleeping mask while I was sleeping during night time. This product used as a replacement of eye cream. While in the morning I use eye cream, at night I use eye sleeping mask. The thing that makes me love this product is the applicator which is a ceramic ball. It has a cooling sensation, and it's good for tired eyes. When I use it, I put the ceramic ball onto the area around my eyes, and do some circular motion. After that, I also give a little massage with my finger around to help the dark circle disappear. 

Besides the applicator, I'd said that Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask has a good formula in it. I've bought the travel size before and used it while traveling. As you know, while traveling we'd have a less bedtime and it made our eyes looks tired. However, since I used Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask, I didn't have that tired looking eyes during the trip. And that's the reason why I bought the full size and use it every night.

Heimish Hydrogel Eye Patch Bulgarian Rose Water

The last product that I use for my eyes is an eye patch. It comes from Heimish which is a Korean brand for skincare. I never used eye patch before and I didn't even know it was exist. Until I watched a beauty blogger introduced this product at social media and it looks promising. I bought it immediately and tried to use it. Since the first usage, I felt this eye patch was really refreshing my tired eyes. It has a cooling sensation and a rose scent which are relaxing. The formula also really helps to hydrate the skin area around my eyes. Every time my eyes looks very tired, I always use this eye patch and after that it looks much better. Besides, Heimish Hydrogel Eye Patch also contains Niacinamide which usually can be found at brightening skincare. So hopefully, with regular use it can get rid of my dark circles.

Well, that's all the eye treatment that I use lately to help me with the tired eyes problem. But using all those treatment doesn't mean you can sleep late anytime you want. You still need enough time to sleep because when you sleep, your skin also "take a rest" and it will looks fresh -naturally- after you wake up.

I got new skin problems when I'm going 30, and this is how I treat it (Part 3 : Dry Skin)

It took a quite long time to continue write about this topic, but finally I gonna share with you about how I treat the third skin problem that I had (which also the last one) - dry skin. But before that, make sure you also read the first part (wrinkles) and the second part (pimples and freckles).

Dry skin - like freckles, I had this problem since I was a kid, and it really hard to get rid of it. I've used some skin care that really works to moisturized my skin such as Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, but somehow lately I could see some flaky skin on my face. It's really annoying for me. Dry lips, dry skin, I always have these problems and they always ruin my make up look. No matter how great and expensive make up that I used, it always ended cracked - not smooth at all.

Looking at this situation, I decided to change my skin care and also added some new skincare as recommended by some beauty expert. Here's the list of the new skin care that I use to treat dry skin problem :

• Senka Perfect Whip Collagen in

It was the first time I changed my facial wash after years. I had doubt at first about change this product, because I have a very sensitive skin. I can't use a facial wash with a lot of foam, because it cause my skin get drier and feels very tight. Even sometimes, a facial wash with a very "strong" ingredients can irritate my skin and it's uncomfortable. Therefore, when I found a facial wash that didn't make my skin dry, I'll keep using it and never thought to change it with other cleansing product.

However, lately I decided to change my facial wash because the sign of aging on my skin is getting worse. I need a "boost" of collagen to keep my skin stay young. Collagen has a lot of benefit for skin - hydrating, firming, anti aging, and many more. When I found Senka Perfect Whip Collagen in Japan, I was really excited and gave a big expectation to this facial wash. Looking at its function, I realized this facial wash is not only clean my face, but it also give collagen which is good to get rid the sign of aging. Well, this facial wash works as I was expecting. Even though it has a lot of foam, but it doesn't make my skin feels tight and get drier after the usage. It's been 2 months after use this facial wash. Even though I still haven't feel the benefit of collagen, but I wish it will show a good changes soon.

• Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum ex

Sulwhasoo is a famous luxury skincare brand from Korea. They use natural ingredients as their main ingredients, and the benefit has been proven by many people. Among their products, there's one product which become their bestseller and always recommended to keep your skin hydrated. It's Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum Ex. When I heard about it at the first time, I thought it works as other serum. But it's not. It works as a booster for the next skin care that you use. So after use this, you still need to use other serum on your skincare routine.

Basically, it has the same function with SK II Facial Treatment Essence and Laneige Clear-C Advanced Effector EX , which is for boost the next skincare so it can work optimally. Besides as a booster, this serum also can be used to hydrated your skin. I just knew about it after read this article by Chriselle Lim.

Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum ex has a "thick" texture - not watery like at essence. But it's not as thick as cream, so it can absorbed easily after we use it on our skin. This texture makes it more hydrating than using other essence.

• Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

It's a new product that I use to treat a dry skin problem, and I'm pretty sure you already know about it. This gel is very popular because it can be used for everything. Not just for hydrates your skin (face and body), but it also magically can be used to make your eyelashes grow longer. At first I didn't interested with this product because it's a Korean medium - low brand which sometimes didn't show any changes on me. But I was desperately to find a good skincare to hydrates my skin, and I decided to give it a try. Well, I didn't dissapointed at all. I used it every night after serum as a night cream, and it really hydrates my skin without make it feel greasy. I like its cooling sensation, which can makes me feel relax at the night time.

Looking at the list above, you'll realize that all of them are Asian beauty products. After a long research, I just knew that Asian people love to make their skin extra hydrated. Especially for Japanese and Korean people, which have an extremely cold weather during winter. It's the reason why their products are perfect to treat dry skin problem.

Well, those are products that I used to hydrates my skin. Beside that, I also use some extra skincare such as Laneige Water Sleeping Mask Lavender, Saborino sheet mask, Fresh Rose Face Mask, and also Fresh Sugar Face Polish. Using mask at least twice a week really helps to hydrate your skin. When I feel my skin is very dry and need a special treatment, I used one of them to restore the hydration on my skin.

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask [Lavender]

Hi all.. Still talking about beauty, this time I gonna write about the new version of Laneige Water Sleeping Pack which comes in lavender. Before I continue, I think all of you must be already know about the benefit of this bestseller product from Laneige. However if you don't know, you can read my blog post about the original version of Laneige Water Sleeping pack in here. FYI, I've used this sleeping pack for years, and it still be one of my favorite skincare.

Since I've written the detail about this product, this time I just want to compare the difference between the original version with the new variant - lavender. All of us must be think the difference only at the fragrance. And that's not wrong. They both have the same function. However, beside the fragrance, they also have a little bit difference in phisically.

1. The jar's color
Since the new variant comes in lavender, Laneige produce this new variant in jar with purple color. It looks different with other Laneige product which usually dominant with blue color. Yet it looks beautiful and makes me want to buy it and put on my skincare shelf.

2. The cream's color
Well, this point was little bit surprising me. Since the original version comes in blue jar and it has a light blue color for the cream, I was expecting the lavender variant also comes in purple color. But it's not. Unpredictably, the cream comes in transparant - white color. However, it has the same texture with the original version, which is very good to hydrate your skin.

3. The spatula / spoon
This different might be not so important. But I just love the way Laneige change their product. When the "old" products just use a simple flat white spatula, the new one use a very small and cute transparant plastic spoon.

4. The fragrance
Just like I wrote above, they have different fragrance. I knew it gonna comes in lavender smell. But at the first time, I thought they'd come in a very strong smell of lavender, like a smell that usually found at natural lavender products. Well, I was wrong. It has a very soft lavender smell, which is very good for relaxing your mind during sleep time. The smell is very different like I thought, and I love it so much.

About the price, I'm not sure whether it's more expensive than the original version. Because I got this sleeping pack in a special set that I bought at Suvarnabhumi Airport. If you asked me which one do I like more, I think I prefer the lavender. It's not because I don't like the smell of the original version. But it's because I felt a little bit bored with that fragrance after use it for years. Curious with this lovely lavender smell?? Just try it by yourself and tell me whether you like it or not.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

Not just skin, but we also need to take care of our lips. A healthy lips, is a key to get a perfect lips-looked. No matter how good and expensive your lip color, it still won’t look pretty on your unhealthy lips.

 To be honest, i have a very bad problem with my lips. It’s been a long time, my lips always get dry. No matter how much i drink water and how much fruit and veggies that i eat, my lips always dry and it makes my lips looks bad every time i use lipcolor. I’ve tried many brand of lip balm, from the cheap one (a drugstore brand), until the expensive, but they didn’t work at all. My lips only get little bit better by using Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. But it also didn’t make it smooth perfectly. This condition really make me upset because i couldn’t use any lip color, especially the matte lipcolor which on trend right now.

Once, i just saw that Laneige has launched a new product for lips, Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. As you can read on a few posts before, Laneige is my favorite brand for skincare. Not because of their popularity, but because all of their products that i tried really works on me. Without think a lot, i decided to buy this product and hope it also gonna work for my lips. However, i didn’t buy the full size. Instead, i bought the Multiberry Trial Kit, which also has this Lip Sleeping Mask in it. (Anyway, i haven't tried all of the products inside the Multiberry Trial Kit. So i will not write a review about it at this Laneige week. Maybe next time :P)

Laneige Multiberry Trial Kit

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask has a sweet berry smells, which comes from the rich Berry complex consisting Strawberry, Cranberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, and Goji Berry. All these ingredients contains Vitamin C that can melts away dead skin cells from the lips overnight. 

If usually Laneige come with blue packaging, this time they use pink color as the packaging and it look so pretty.. Not just for the jar, but also the lip mask itself and the little spatula. Isn't it cute???

Basically, using Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask has the same "rules" like Water Sleeping Pack and White Plus Renew Capsule Pack. Apply it on the area that you want before you sleep at night, and wash it at the next morning. And againn,,,, it works on me. After i leave it on my lips at night, this product will stick on my lips. When i clean it, it peel off the “dry skin” on my lips, and leave my lips at the very soft, smooth and elastic condition.

I’ve used it for about 1 month, and it really prove the greatness of its formula. Not just solve my dry lips problem, but it also helps me with another problem on my lips, a dark lips. Yeah, i have a quite dark lips and it’s really annoying. I couldn’t use any bold / dark lipcolor, because it will looked very dark on my lips. However, since i use this Lip Sleeping Mask, my lips get little bit brighter than before, and i’m so glad about that.. So,, do you want to prove it by yourself???

P.S : This Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask has 20g in a jar, and cost IDR 270k, which really a good deal for the amazing product like this.

Laneige White Plus Renew Capsule Pack

Seems like this week gonna be a Laneige week on my blog. Because for this past few months, i just tried some new products from Laneige, and i would say that i love them all. Not just their skincare, but the make up products as well. Well, i’ll write a review about them all in sequence on my blog. So stay tuned and like my Facebook page, to get an update about it.

There are 16 capsules in each box. Which can be used up to 4 months if you use it once in a week.

 Well, this post still about review from White Plus Renew series which i love the most. After satisfied with the result of White Plus Renew Original Cream, i decided to try other product from White Plus Renew series. It’s White Plus Renew Capsule Sleeping Pack.

Before i start to write more about this product, have you read my post about Laneige Water Sleeping Pack??? I’ll write a little about it. First time i knew about Laneige is because i’m looking for the best skincare for dry skin type. And it led me to the best seller product by Laneige, Water Sleeping Pack. Basically, sleeping pack is used as a night cream. So after get your face cleaned and use your night skincare routine, skip your night cream, and replace it with sleeping pack. Sleeping pack has a very creamy texture, easy to absorb, and it’s really helpful for your dry skin. At the first week, i used the sleeping pack everynight because my skin was very very dry. However, when it started to get better, i just use it once in a week, until now.

Actually, that sleeping pack is work on me. However, i want something more to brighten my skin tone. One day i was offered to try White Plus Renew Capsule Pack, which can make my skin get brighter, faster than just using the original cream. Felt curious about that product, i decided to give it a try.

This products has a unique packaging. Unlike the Water Sleeping Pack which looks like a cream that comes with a jar, White Plus Renew Capsule Pack comes with a small packaging, which only can be used for 1 time only. In each capsule, there are 2 kinds of formula. To start to use it, we need to mix it together until it blends perfectly. After that, apply that on your cleaned face, and wash it at the next morning.

I’ve used this product for more than 6 months, and to be honest, i love this product, so muchhhhh..... I use it once in a week, and after 1 box i really feel the result from this product. It really make my skin get brighter, and keep it moisturized at the same time. If you want to know the truth, YES, i'm a big fan of Laneige . I've used a lot of their products, and i really love it. Feel curious about their "best seller" product, i bought Laneige Water Sleeping Pack on my Hong Kong trip . It's been 2 years since i bought it. Now, the packaging has been changed, but the ingredients still the same.

As you can see on the picture above, Laneige Water Sleeping Pack has a light gel texture with blue color; which gives intensive hydration, vitality, and brightening effect while restoring skin with deep relaxation through aroma scent. Use this sleeping pack during your sleep time at night, and feel the result in the next morning.

Like another sleeping pack, you can use it only once or twice a week. However, when you feel your skin in really dry, you can apply it more.

What i like from Laneige Water Sleeping Pack?
1. This sleeping pack can moisturize your skin, without making it greasy.
2. The smells is really good. When you use it at night, the fragrance from this sleeping pack can make up our mind to be relaxed.
3. It works really fast. You can feel the result only in 2 - 3 times of use.

How to use it?
1. After clean your face, and use the toner (you can skip the toner if you want), take an appropriate amount, mark on nose tip, cheeks, forehead, and chin area. You can enjoy the scent for about 3 seconds.
2. Gently spread over the face from inner to outer part along the skin texture.
3. Now, you can sleep without rinsing off. Wash your face in the next morning, and you can feel the result.

I've used this sleeping pack for more than 2 years, and i like it so much. My skin become really soft, and i can say goodbye to my dry skin :) If you have oily skin type, you still can use this sleeping pack. But don't use it too often,1-2 times a week is enough. However, i don't feel any brightening effect with this sleeping pack. So i'll try another sleeping pack (still from Laneige), which is from White Plus Renew series. Gonna review it soon ^^
