[Macau - Hong Kong] Day 4 : Bye Macau, Hello Hong Kong - Shop 'til drop at Tsim Sha Tsui

August 2nd, 2014

Today we had to leave Macau in the morning. We would take the first ferry to Kowloon. After checked out, we were going to west lobby. We were going to take Venetian shuttle bus to Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal.
At Venetian lobby
West lobby for catch shuttle bus
There are 2 ferries to go to Hong Kong from Macau, Cotai Jet and Turbo Jet. They also have different ferry terminal at Macau. So you have to make sure which ferry you want to use. If you use Cotai Jet, the ferry will stop at Sheung Wan. But if you use Turbo Jet, you can choose the terminal between Sheung Wan and Kowloon.

I'll stay at Guang dong hotel at Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. So i chose Turbo Jet to Kowloon area. It only took about 45 minutes and we arrived at China Ferry Terminal. China Ferry Terminal located at 33 Canton Road and it also connected with The Royal Pacific Hotel and Towers.

Finished with the long queue at immigration, we walked out to the Canton Road and saw the crowd there. Peoples are walking with the shopping bags on their hand, and they are also wearing stylish clothes. Most of them using MCM backpack. Love it!!! Can't wait to go shopping at Hong Kong.

Canton Road,  Tsim Sha Tsui

While in Hong Kong, we stayed at GuangDong hotel. Its located at Prat Ave, Tsim Sha Tsui. Not a big hotel, but it has a good location. After check in and put our luggage, we went to Tsui Wah for had a lunch. Tsui Wah is a famous restaurant at Hong Kong. You can found Tsui Wah everywhere and it always has a long queue.
Fish Balls and Fish Cakes with Flat Rice Noodles in Fish Soup
Hainanese Chicken Rice
Cold Milk Tea
Japanese Green Tea Ice Cream with Red Bean Fleecy
The chicken rice is just so so. Not really good. I prefer like Singapore chicken rice than this (especially chicken rice at Takashimaya's food court ♡).

But you must try Fish Balls and Fish Cakes with Flat Rice Noodles in Fish Soup. Seriously, its really good. Especially the fish balls and the fish cakes. Even i ordered 1 more just for eat the fish balls and fish cakes.

I also ordered the famous milk tea at Tsui Wah. But I didn't try the hot milk tea. Because it was on summer, and the weather really hot in Hong Kong. So i decided to order "Cold Milk Tea". The waitress told me that they used the same milk tea for cold and hot. So they have the same taste. And I think the taste is really great!! Not too sweet and it has the strong tea flavor. Like it..

Enough with the great lunch, we decided to go to Harbour City. Today we just want to explore Tsim Sha Tsui. But before that, we bought PCCW-HKT Tourist sim card at Cameron Road. Its located in front of the "MTR Exit B". I chose the unlimited package for 8 days. It only cost HKD 96. You also can choose the package for 5 days (HKD 69).

Harbour City is a large shopping mall at Tsim Sha Tsui. It comprises several parts: Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Ocean Terminal, Ocean Centre, the Gateway and the Pacific Club Kowloon. It always has a beautiful decoration. When i was in Hong Kong, they decorated with Snoopy. They are really cute.

This is a perfect place for shopping. I bought some lip colors from Chanel and Dior (I'm a lip color addict at that time ㅋㅋㅋ) I also bought Laneige Water Sleeping Pack. Actually i never use Laneige product before. But i read that Laneige product is really cheap in Hong Kong. So I decided to buy it just for add my collection ^^

While i was walking to Ocean Terminal, i saw Pierre Herme. This is one of the famous macaroon beside Laduree. Even some people said Pierre Herme is more delicious than Laduree.

I only bought 6 pcs and tried the best flavour. But i don't like the taste. Its too sweet and has a strange flavor. And I think the price is not worth it for this macaroon.

We continue our shopping time and the next stop is LCX. Its located at level 3 Ocean Terminal. This is my favorite place to shopping. There are so many beauty products and korean clothing store such as Stylenanda, Aland, etc.

Totoro at Donguri Republic LCX

2 hours shopping at LCX didn't make me feel tired, but my family did. So we had to go back to hotel and take a rest for a moment. We're going out from Ocean Terminal gate, and we saw the beautiful skyline.

On my way to hotel, we saw Hui Lau Shan with a long queue. I told my family that is the famous healthy dessert in Hong Kong. Who doesn't love dessert? Especially if it's made from mango.
Mango Mochi

I have no idea why people like it. For me, it's not a delicious dessert. Its not sweet and tasteless. Second time feel disappointed with mango dessert after Mango Tango at Bangkok.

After finished, we walked out and i see still there's a long queue in front of Hui Lau Shan. Most of them just buy a mango drink. I think the drink taste better than the dessert that i ate. Gonna try it later!!

Tonight, we want to go to Granville Road. Its not far from our hotel. But my daughter will not following. She just stay at hotel with her granny. She feel tired follow me to shopping all the day. Sorry dear :(

Granville road known as a shopping street at Tsim Sha Tsui. It's not too crowded like at Causeway bay, but there's Monki there!!! That's my purpose at Granville road. Before we reached Monki, we're going to Rise Shopping Arcade. That's really a small place for shopping. But they have great stuff for sale. Clothes, accessories, beauty tools. The price is also worth it, not too expensive. 200HKD for a good quality T-shirt for man. But, there is one thing that makes me not like to shopping there. You can not try the clothes. They don't have fitting room and they are afraid if we try, we will make the clothes become dirty.

Not far from Rise Shopping Arcade, we found a store selling egg waffles. Snacking at night?? Why not?? :D

The taste is really good. Its crispy and sweet. Just now I'm craving for this food T_T
I also found Hui Lau Shan at Granville road, it almost 11pm but they still have a long queue. All of them just order the drink. I'm getting curious with that so i decided to buy it.

I forget the name of this drink. But this one taste really amazing.. It contains coconut sago at the first layer, mango, and aloe jelly at the bottom. Mix it, and drink it. You can feel the sweetness and chewy of the jelly at once. Must try when you're in Hong Kong.

At 11pm, we walked to Monki. I worried if the store is already closed. Luckily, its still opened. I like to shopping at Monki. Because they have clothes with XXS size. I'm so happy on my first day at Hong Kong. I got all i want. But my shopping trip isn't over yet. Still there's another day and I'll share with you :)

DreamWorks All Star Parade at The Shoppes of Cotai Central Macao

Parade....Who doesn't like it? All your favorite character will dance in front of you and even you can take a picture with them. This time i'll share about DreamWorks All star parade. At this parade, you can meet with the character from DreamWorks movie such as Madagascar, Shrek, Kungfu Panda, and How to Train Your Dragon.

You can see this parade at The Shoppes of Cotai Central Macao. The parade started at 3pm daily. This parade is not too crowded like a parade at disneyland. So you can take a picture with them. But you have to move fast. When you meet your favorite character, get ready with your camera.

Fairy Godmother

Princess "Ogre" Fiona

Puss in Boots

Penguin of Madagascar

King Julien
I really want to take a picture with Puss in Boots. That's my favorite character. Unfortunately my hubby had to take care of my daughter who was crying at that time. She was afraid of the "tall man" who stands behind Puss. Although i already asked "Puss" to take a picture with me and i hugged him :( I hope one day i can go back again to Macau and take a picture with Puss in Boots :P

[Macau - Hong Kong] Day 3 : Sands Cotai Central ( Kids Cavern ), Ruins of St. Paul's

August 1st, 2014

This is the last day for us to have a full day at Macau. So we have to go to every place that we want to go. First we went to Cafe Deco Venetian for had a breakfast.

This is a huge place for have a breakfast. They also have a lot of foods. But the taste isn't as good as at Sheraton.

Her favorite foods : corn and lettuce!!
Finished the breakfast,  then we walked around that area. Venetian Resort is really big. I've walked at Venetian a day before, but i didn't pass this area. Next to the Cafe Deco, we found a gift shop.
Pretty masks

A cute " Toothless " doll
After shopping we went to the swimming pool area. As i remember,  they have 3 swimming pools but its not big.
The biggest swimming pool at Venetian

My hubby told me that he wanted to see Transformers Expo  . He saw the banner in front of Cafe Deco. But i didn't want to watch it. So he just watched it with his brother.

At 1 pm, we decided to go to Sands Cotai Central. I heard there's a DreamWorks parade at 3 pm. And i also wanted to go to Kids Cavern. Kids Cavern is a large store that sells children stuff. There are a lot of toys, clothes, and candies!!!

Lollipops

Tons of Sweets
We bought a few kinds of candy. Then we saw Koufu food court. Sounds interesting... We tried to look inside. There's a lot of food there (and not too pricey like at Venetian). So we decided to have a lunch there.

Plate burning sambo MOP 98
I order plate burning sambo at Pan One. It contains salmon, beef, and chicken. I mixed it with the sauce, its so tasty.. All the meat cooked well done. And there's no strong pepper taste like at  "Pepper lunch"

Finished with our lunch, we explored Sands Cotai Central, and waiting for DreamWorks All star parade The parade is located at Level 2 The Shoppes of Cotai Central. They started at 3pm daily. I'm so excited with this parade. Because you can take a picture with all the character of DreamWorks. My daughter gonna love it.

The parade runs for about 30 minutes. After that we walked to City of Dreams, and used a shuttle bus to go to Hotel Sintra. You can use that shuttle bus to go to Largo do Senado (Senado Square) and Ruins of St Paul's.

The situation is much different than in Taipa area. Its more crowded and not quite as in Taipa. We walked to Largo do Senado, and saw there are a lot of people there. There are a lot of shops at Senado. There are Okashii Land, Milan Station, etc. At Senado, you also can found a lots of people selling pork jerky and pork chop bun. They'll give a tester in front of their store.

St. Dominic's Church

"Crazy" pose because of the hot weather
We were going behind the ruins and saw the inside

Finished with the Ruins of St Paul's,  we were going to Mount Fortress and Museum of Macau. They're located next to Ruins of St Paul's. There are 2 ways to going there, to the right (long and high stairs), and the left (going up with the escalator inside Museum of Macau). At the first time i didn't know there is an escalator to going up. So i chose the right way. Its really far and the hot weather made it become worse!!

Grand Lisboa from Mount Fortress

Couldn't stand with the hot weather, we were going from Senado. But before go back to hotel, we went to Margaret's Cafe e Nata. Its located not too far from Senado. They are known to sell very tasty egg tarts.

I came at 5pm and they only had 12pcs left. So i think you have to come earlier. I tried 1 bite and felt the taste was amazing!! Its more delicious than Lord Stow's egg tart. The sweetness and the crispy pastry make it perfect.. Even my daughter can eat 3pcs egg tarts.

Shuttle bus to City of Dreams from Hotel Sintra
For the dinner, we decided to go back to Koufu food court. We ate "Plate Burning Sambo" (again) at Pan One. That's totally recommended!! Actually we had a plan to go to Grand Lisboa and Wynn Hotel after dinner. But it was raining :( So we just turned around to go back to our hotel. Accidentally, we found another part of Sands Cotai. There's a beautiful place to take some pictures. LOL.

Turbo - the fast snail
So this is the end of our journey at Macau. Tomorrow,  we had to go to Macau in the morning.
