Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask

I don't know whether it's because October is "my month" or maybe because of other reasons, but I feel be more productive start this month. I've finished every job that has been postponed for weeks, and also I started to write my blog again. Actually still there are so many topics to be written on my blog, but I still want to continue write about the eye treatment. If you have read the previous post, you'll see some "recommended products" for eyes. I won't write about another product at this post. Instead, I'll write specifically about one of those product - Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask.

With no doubt, I would say that Laneige is my favorite brand for skincare. The formula on their products really hydrating my dry skin, and its brightening products also really show an improvement. For this good quality products, the price is very reasonable. That's the reason why I always repurchased their products. Lately, I just add their new product into my skincare routine. Yup, as written above it's the eye sleeping mask. 

At the first time I didn't believe with this product. However, since I've tried the lip sleeping mask (which is amazing) and I also have the travel size, I decided to bring it when I was traveling to Canada. As you know, the time difference between Canada and Indonesia is very long and it made my sleeptime really a mess. By that time I used this mask every night, and surprisingly my eyes wasn't look too tired - unlike when I was not sleeping because of Korean drama. Looking at its great result, I decided to add this product into my skincare routine and by the full size.

First impression when I see this product, it looks elegant. The bottle made from glass - not a plastic. When I openned it, I found out the applicator was made from ceramic ball and it has a cooling effect while you use it around your eyes. It's a huge plus point from me because at the travel size, it only use a plastic bottle with pump. While applying the mask around my eyes, I like to give a "little massage" by doing a circle motion with the ceramic ball.

When you use this Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask, do not think it will be show an instant result. Every skincare need a process and you need to use it routinely to see the result. Will I repurchase this product? OF COURSE!! As long as there's no other product with this function, I'll stay with it and put it in my night skincare routine.

Hi beauties, how you've been lately?

Did quarantine make you have enough time to sleep and take a rest at home? Or instead, it made your sleep time being disorganized? For me, this quarantine life really "destroyed" my daily routines especially my bedtime. At the beginning, I slept late because of watching Korean drama. I had no idea what should I do at that time so I just keep watching TV series (especially Korean drama) on Netflix day and night. After couple months, I have a new desire to build a new business. So I was working on it until midnight, and even sometimes I didn't sleep because I had a lot of things to do. At the end, I realized that my eyes looks very tired. I could see my dark circle was getting worse and I hate to see it.

Well, I realized it's not only because of my new "job". As I was saying at the previous post, I didn't take care of my skin at all during quarantine. I was too lazy to do it. But looking at how bad my skin was, I tried to fix it and started to do a complete skincare routine again. But this time, I’m not gonna write about my full skincare routine. Instead, I will write about treatment that I do for my eyes. I have 3 favorite products for tired eyes, and I will write about it completely below.

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Creme

Eye cream is the most basic treatment for eyes, and it's something that you must use everyday. Eyes is the part of your face that get aging rapidly. Some peoples -including me- got aging signs such as dark circle and fine lines around eyes at the young ages. Therefore, eye cream is as important as other skincare. I’ve tried many eye cream before, and currently I fell for Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Creme. With Vitamin C and collagen as its ingredients, this eye cream can solve any problems around your eyes such as dark circle, wrinkles, and puffiness. It’s really good especially if you don’t have enough time to sleep which cause your eyes looks tired. 

Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask

Have you ever use sleeping mask on your night skincare routine? If you have, you must be know how it is work during your bedtime. I never forget to use sleeping mask twice a week, and I love the result which make my skin very hydrated. Sleeping mask works really well while you sleep and give extra hydration. That's what I got by using Laneige Sleeping Mask at night. Being success with sleeping mask product, Laneige has launched another great products which are Lip Sleeping Mask and Eye Sleeping Mask. I've write the review about how lip sleeping mask solved the problem at my lips, and now I gonna write about eye sleeping mask.

Like other "sleeping mask" products, I use eye sleeping mask while I was sleeping during night time. This product used as a replacement of eye cream. While in the morning I use eye cream, at night I use eye sleeping mask. The thing that makes me love this product is the applicator which is a ceramic ball. It has a cooling sensation, and it's good for tired eyes. When I use it, I put the ceramic ball onto the area around my eyes, and do some circular motion. After that, I also give a little massage with my finger around to help the dark circle disappear. 

Besides the applicator, I'd said that Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask has a good formula in it. I've bought the travel size before and used it while traveling. As you know, while traveling we'd have a less bedtime and it made our eyes looks tired. However, since I used Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask, I didn't have that tired looking eyes during the trip. And that's the reason why I bought the full size and use it every night.

Heimish Hydrogel Eye Patch Bulgarian Rose Water

The last product that I use for my eyes is an eye patch. It comes from Heimish which is a Korean brand for skincare. I never used eye patch before and I didn't even know it was exist. Until I watched a beauty blogger introduced this product at social media and it looks promising. I bought it immediately and tried to use it. Since the first usage, I felt this eye patch was really refreshing my tired eyes. It has a cooling sensation and a rose scent which are relaxing. The formula also really helps to hydrate the skin area around my eyes. Every time my eyes looks very tired, I always use this eye patch and after that it looks much better. Besides, Heimish Hydrogel Eye Patch also contains Niacinamide which usually can be found at brightening skincare. So hopefully, with regular use it can get rid of my dark circles.

Well, that's all the eye treatment that I use lately to help me with the tired eyes problem. But using all those treatment doesn't mean you can sleep late anytime you want. You still need enough time to sleep because when you sleep, your skin also "take a rest" and it will looks fresh -naturally- after you wake up.

I got new skin problems when I'm going 30, and this is how I treat it (Part 1 : Wrinkles)

Have you read my previous blogpost?? Well, at that post I wrote that I have a lot of beauty content that I'd write on my blog. I had this because of one reason : Lately I got so much problem on my skin, and I need to change (almost all) my skincare. It's been few months for me to try those new skincare, and I'm ready to review all of them. For the next few days, I'll write some posts about reviews of those products, based on the problems that I had. This topic will be divided into 3 parts, where each parts will discuss about 1 problem. First, I'll write about the main problems that I really worry about, and I didn't expect to get it when I'm going 30.

OK, I start with the worst skin problem, which I shouldn't get on my age (I just 27). But these things are real!! I had fine lines before (precisely few years ago), and I could get rid of them by using SK II Facial Treatment Essence. Ever since then, I never forget to put this product into my skincare routine.

A few months ago, I started to see a smile line appearance on my face, and it's really disturbing. It always make a crack after few hours I wear make up and its horrible. Not just that, I also spot some fine lines under my eyes, which also disturbing as well. Since I saw these lines, I changed my skincare from brightening products into anti aging products. At this point I realized one thing,

"Step into 30 years old, you need skincare with anti aging effects more than brightening effects. Because you can use make up to make your face looks brighten instantly, but it's really hard to cover wrinkle and any fine lines on your face."

Therefore, I changed my serum and also my eye cream. For the serum, I use Kate Somerville Wrinkle Warrior 2-in-1 Plumping Moisturizer + Serum in the morning and Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair for at night. These products known as the best anti aging skincare with medium range price (not cheap but also not too expensive), compared to other brand such as SK II. These serums work really well, and they reduce the appearance of smile lines. I love Kate Somerville Wrinkle Warrior - because as you can read on its name, it contains moisturizer and serum in 1 bottle. So it's perfect to be used at the morning rush. However, this product is not really hydrating. Therefore, I use other product for at night, which more hydrating - Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair.

Best serum for at night : Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

To be honest, I've been eyeing on this product for a long time. Almost everyone put this serum on their night skincare routine. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair promising to treat any skin problems, while you're sleeping at night. Smoother, more radiant, and younger look, those sounds amazing and I really need it. As people said, this serum is really works. I wake up every morning with smooth and bright skin, and it also helps to reduce the fine lines. However, there's one thing that I don't like from this serum, it's the smell. There's no any fragrance added on this serum, so the smell comes from the main ingredients and it's not good. It smells like rubber or plastic, and sometimes it makes me almost throw up. But since this product really works to treat my skin problems, I'll keep using it and put it on my night skincare routine.

The jar size of Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream is so "mini". Easy to bring for traveling.

Besides serum, I also change my eye cream. As you know, my very first eye cream was SK II Stempower Eye Cream - which really can be used to reduce wrinkle around my eyes, and then I changed into Caudalie Premier Cru The Eye Cream - which known as an eyecream that helps to loose dark circle. Well, this time I try new eye cream which promising could get rid of any problems around your eyes such as dark circle, wrinkle, and even puffy eyes. It's Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Creme. At the first time I was really surprised to see the "Before - After" picture of this eye cream. I have these problems for years and I still couldn't find any eye cream that could fix it. Therefore, when I found out about this eye cream, I have feelings it can help me out. And it's true! Even though still there's some fine lines, but the dark circle under my eyes start to disappeared. I've use this eye cream for a month, and it shows a good progress. So far this is the best eye cream I ever tried, and I think it's gonna be my favorite eye cream.

My skincare to get rid of wrinkles and any fine lines on my face

Well, that's all the new products that I use to treat the appearance of wrinkles on my face. I really satisfied with the result and would recommend this anti aging products for all of you who's just going to 30 years old.

Review of Caudalie Vinoperfect  Radiance Serum and Caudalie Premier Cru The Eye Cream

Hi beauties, back again with an update about beauty from me. This time I gonna write a review about 2 products that I just finished from Caudalie. It's Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum and Premier Cru The Eye Cream. Well, first time I knew about Caudalie was from its bestseller product, Beauty Elixir. However, I don't like its smell so I just skipped it. Not long after that, I read a beauty blogger wrote a review about Premier Cru The Eye Cream. She said that it had a highlight effect and could reduce dark circles around her eyes. Since I have a problem with dark circles, and my last eye cream didn't work for it, so I decided to try this eye cream.

At the first look, I'd admit that I fell in love with its packaging. It's simple yet elegant. It also had no strong smell (like at Beauty Elixir), and I like it. The texture itself not light, but it also not too thick. This texture makes it easy to absorbed. This eye cream worked really well at its place, by not ruin my eye make up.

I just started to love Caudalie brand, especially after I saw Vinoperfect Radiance Serum. This serum was really recommended as the first serum that could reduce appearance of black spot (freckles). If you don't know, I've being "friends" with freckles since I was 10 years old. I've tried many skincare to reduce the freckles, but they're all didn't work. Read its promising words, I tried to use it few months ago.

The texture of the serum is lighter than the eye cream. When I put them together, the serum could drop down easily.

Like other serum, Vinoperfect Radiance Serum has a very light texture, and even it's lighter than the eye cream. Everyday, I used 4 drops of it on forehead, cheeks, and nose. It might sounds too little for you, but it's the right amount for my face. Just like I was expecting, this serum absorbed really fast and didn't make my skin feels greasy. To get the best results, I applied this serum every morning and night after use SK II Facial Treatment Essence.

As I was saying at the first, I just finished both of these products. And........... Here's the result:

1. Caudalie Premier Cru The Eye Cream
Hmm... Hard to answer this. Because during the usage of the eye cream, I also use other products for loosing the dark circles such as Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask and Heimish Bulgarian Rosewater Hydrogel Eye Patch - which I could feel the benefits right after using it. But if I compare the dark circles under my eyes before and after the usage of Caudalie Premier Cru The Eye Cream, I saw that the dark circles started to fading. (P.S : Sorry I forget to take photos for before after)

However, I would like to tell you that this eye cream can't handle the appearance of wrinkles. If you ever read my post about SKII Stempower Eye Cream, you'd know that eye cream really works to reduce the wrinkles around my eyes. But I "moved" to eye cream from Caudalie because I want to loose the dark circles. As you can see, those eye creams can't work for loosing wrinkles and dark circles at the same time. Will I repurchase this eye cream?? Of course not!! I just found another eye cream, with a good review, and it promises can handle all eyes' problem including eyebag, wrinkles, and dark circles. 2. Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum
Next, the serum. Honestly, I love this serum so much. It has a very light texture, and also it has a light and smells good fragrance. It also makes my skin keep hydrated, because it absorbed really fast on my skin, and it works inside it. However, I didn't see any benefit for my freckles, which is the main reason why I chose this serum.

I understand that a usage of 1 bottle might not enough to show the benefit. But at this time, I really concern about the wrinkles and fine lines which suddenly appear on my face. I don't know how could this happened. I mean, I just 27 years old, and I still use SKII FTE which I've felt the benefit to reduce the fine lines on my face. This condition made me looking for other serum that works focusly to reduce the wrinkles, because I want those wrinkles gone, ASAP!!! Therefore, I decided to not continue using Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum for a while, and replace it with anti aging serum until all the wrinkles and fine lines are gone.

SK II Stempower Eye Cream

Wrinkle, dark circle, eyebag, these problems always become my concern. I really hate it because it makes every pictures of mine looks bad, especially when i smile. I always try to find a the best concealer for my under eye, but they all can’t cover perfectly. I realized that these problems need to be fixed, not covered. I’ve tried many ways to fix my eye’s problem started from the traditional way, by using cucumber and tea bags, until using many brands of eye cream, but nothing works.

SK II Stempower Eye Cream

 

One day, my mom in law gave me a recommendation to use Sign Eye Cream from SK II. To be honest, i don’t really like this brand before, because of some reasons. First, it is so pricey. I never use any “luxury” skincare like this before, and even I never think want to try it. I’m enough with a mid range skincare such as Laneige, which works really good as well. Second, first thought from me about SK II was, that brand is for elder people. Yeah, I was just 20s at that time, and heard SK II known for it’s best seller product Facial Treatment Essence which very useful for anti aging, i never thought SK II will be suitable for me. However, since she gave me this eye cream, I decided to give it a try. Who knows it’s gonna work.

SK II Signs Eye Cream

After 1 month used this eye cream, I started to see the result. Not much, but I quite satisfied with it. The wrinkle, is gone. It also reduced the eyebag, a little!! However, it still didn’t give any changed with the dark circle. So i gave up with this eye cream. Because the big concern for me is the dark circle.

Give up with 1 brand, didn’t stop me to find other great eye cream. I kept changing my eye cream, to find the one who can handle all of my eyes problem. Then i realized, none of them can do that, even to fix 1 of them. The worse was, the wrinkle around my eyes is back again! Then i back again to SK II. Unfortunately, the "Signs Eye Cream has been discontinued. But, they have a new product to replace it. It's called SK II Stempower Eye Cream.

For these past few months, I sticked with II Stempower Eye Cream. I like the texture of this eye cream. It's really light, so it doesn't make my under eye looks oily and "broke" my make up. And like the first time I used this eye cream, it (still) works to loose the wrinkle. And I found the other great result of it. After a long term used (almost a year), it started to reduced the dark circle. Not much, but still it’s a good news for me. Finally i found an eye cream who can help me with my eye’s problem.

So far this is the best eye cream that I ever used, which really works one my eyes. It costs around IDR 1,6 million for 15g. Yeah, it’s quite expensive. But it’s worth it because this eye cream is amazing.
