Belakangan ini aku lagi suka banget cobain beberapa skincare baru, dan that's the reason why lately I keep writting about skincare that I've tried. Tapi sekarang, aku bakalan nulis tentang koleksi make up terbaru dari Lakme Indonesia. Penasaran?? Keep reading....

Lakme adalah salah satu brand make up favorite aku. Pertama kali tau brand ini karena produk bestsellernya, Mousse Foundation. Sekarang Lakme baru aja keluarin seri terbaru which is "9to5 Reinvent" dan salah satu produknya adalah Cushion Foundation. Seperti produk sebelumnya, Cushion Foundation ini bagus banget and that's why I gonna write a review about it at this post. Tapi sebelumnya I want to say many thanks to Clozette ID, yang udah kasih aku produk ini.

Why I love this cushion foundation?
Ga seperti cushion lainnya yang rata - rata memiliki low to medium coverage, Lakme 9To5 Cushion Foundation memiliki high coverage. Selain itu, di dalam cushion foundation ini juga sudah ada SPF 30 dan primer. Jadi hanya dengan menggunakan cushion foundation ini, kalian akan mendapatkan flawless skin seperti menggunakan layers of make up. But don't worry, meskipun high coverage, it has a very light texture. Ga bikin cakey, karena formulanya itu ringan banget. Cocok buat kalian yang sehari - hari suka melakukan banyak aktivitas.

Untuk kalian yang ga suka hasil glowing, you're gonna love this cushion foundation karena hasilnya adalah velvet matte. Yup, cushion pertama yang memiliki hasil matte dan ini TOP banget. Dengan hasil akhir matte, kalian ga perlu lagi menggunakan powder untuk set make up kalian. It's all done only with a layer of Lakme 9To5 Reinvent Cushion Foundation. Meskipun dipake seharian, ga akan bikin wajah kalian jadi berminyak, dan kalian ga perlu touch up lagi. Ga heran kalau cushion ini disebut #CushionSerbaBisa .

Hal lain yang bikin aku suka sama cushion ini adalah packagingnya. I'm a pink lover and I love everything in pink. Cushion ini memiliki warna pink agak ke rose gold untuk packagingnya, and I love it very much! That's the first thing that I love from its packaging. Hal kedua yang bikin aku suka sama cushion ini adalah warna dari cushion pad. Kalau cushion pad aku sebelumnya selalu berwarna putih, cushion pad dari Lakme ini berwarna hitam. Menurut aku ini sangat menguntungkan jadi ga keliatan kotor.

It's November already, which means 1 month to go to the busiest month of the year. Final exams,  Christmas, winter holiday, and there are more things to prepare at this time. However, in between my full schedule, I make a little time to write this blogpost, because I'm so amazed with this beauty product. Well, it comes from my favorite brand (lately), which is Ole Henriksen. After I feel a good result from Ole Henriksen Lemon Facial Peel, I started to search more about other products from this brand. I've tried the eye cream which works very well on me (click here to read more about it), and then I found something that sounds great from this American beauty brand. It's Ole Henriksen Goodnight Glow Retin-ALT Sleeping Creme. I heard about this product last year, precisely at December 2018. At that time, it was a new product and luckily, I could find it easily at Sephora Australia. Another luck for me, at that moment I was having holiday in Sydney. So I didn't want to missed any chance with this interesting product, and I just put it on my shopping basket. Yup, I'm a #beautyaddict

Looking at the picture above, you might be shock with the price. $90 for a jar of night cream, it's not cheap at all. Therefore, I put a big expectation on this product. And as I was saying, it didn't disappointed at all. Ole Henriksen Goodnight Glow Retin-ALT Sleeping Creme is a cream that you use at night, during your sleep time. As you know, when you're sleeping at night, your skin will be at "repair mode", and it will looks fresher in the morning. This sleeping cream helps to maximize the process by exfoliating the skin surface and make it glowing. It contains AHA and bakuchiol - which is a plant based alternative to retinol. With this formula, the usage of this cream can be used to treat any signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and freckles.

First, of course because if the result which I could see immediately. Second, it's because of the smell. The smell of this cream is absolutely lovely. It comes with sweet fragrance - like a bubble gum I guess, which is good to relax your mind while you're sleeping. And can you see the color? It's purple! How cute it is. It's the first time for me to see a skincare with purple color. The texture is quite thick and greasy, but it's still acceptable and perfect for night usage when you're skin needs to be more hydrated.

Facial Organic Tea Tree & Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT) di Oriskin

Treatmant Facial Organic Tea Tree dan PDT adalah perawatan untuk membersihkan wajah, mempertahankan kelembaban kulit, memperlancar peredaran darah, membuat wajah terlihat lebih segar dan halus. Jadi kalau kalian merasa kulit sedang kusam karena terkena paparan sinar matahari, polusi, dan terkena pencahayaan yang juga bisa membuat kulit menjadi kering, 2 macam treatment ini adalah perawatan yang paling cocok untuk membuat kulit anda menjadi "bersih" dan terlihat segar kembali. Treatment ini dapat dilakukan dalam waktu bersamaan secara singkat (kurang lebih 1,5 jam), dimulai dari facial dan diikuti oleh PDT. Treatment ini dimulai dengan pijatan pada kaki (welcome massage) supaya badan dan pikiran menjadi rileks. Setelah itu, mulailah tahap berikutnya - cleansing. Pada tahap ini wajah dibersihkan menggunakan busa pembersih yang sangat lembut. Setelah wajah bersih dari make up dan kotoran, tahap berikutnya adalah steam. Steam itu adalah proses penguapan pada wajah. Ada 2 macam steam yang dilakukan pada saat facial, steam panas dan steam dingin. Steam panas dilakukan pada saat sebelum ekstraksi (pengangkatan komedo) dengan tujuan untuk membuka pori - pori supaya komedo lebih mudah diangkat. Setelah pori - pori mulai terbuka, barulah proses ekstraksi komedo dimulai. Sakit?? Iyaaaa. Tapi karna sudah di steam dengan uap panas, sakitnya masih wajar kok....

Setelah wajah bersih dari komedo, perawatnya mulai melakukan steam dingin pada wajah. Steam dingin ini bertujuan untuk menutup kembali pori - pori setelah dilakukan proses ekstraksi komedo. Rasanya enak banget. Dingin - dingin gitu bikin jadi rileks. And the next step is the best part from this treatment, face massage. Yess, pijatan pada muka di Oriskin ini enak banget. Apalagi dia menggunakan oil dengan wangi aromatherapy yang sweet, bikin pikiran jadi tenang dan ngantuk. Siap - siap aja kalian tertidur pada tahap ini :D

Setelah selesai proses pemijatan pada wajah, treatment ini berlanjut ke tahap berikutnya, masker. Masker yang digunakan terdapat kandungan tea tree, yang berguna untuk menghilangkan bekas - bekas jerawat dan membuat wajah menjadi bersih. To be honest, at the first time aku agak takut mendengar kata - kata tea tree. Karena yang aku tahu, kandungan tea tree biasanya terdapat pada produk skin care untuk jenis kulit berminyak, dan memiliki efek perih setelah pemakaian. But it's not!! Masker yang digunakan pada Facial Organic Tea Tree ini memiliki efek yang lembut dan dapat membantu melembabkan wajah. Selama wajah di masker, seluruh badanku dipijat oleh perawatnya. Let's back to sleep again.....

Final step from facial treatment, perawatnya memberikan beberapa produk pada wajah dimulai dari serum, moisturizer, dan juga sunblock. Itulah akhir dari facial treatment di Oriskin. Namun jika kalian akan melakukan treatment PDT (like I did), treatment ini dilakukan pada tahap ini - setelah facial berakhir. PDT (Photo Dynamic Therapy) adalah rejuvenation treatment menggunakan sinar LED, yang berguna untuk mengatasi permasalahan kulit seperti jerawat, bintik - bintik hitam, minyak berlebih, dan wajah kusam. Pada saat melakukan PDT, area mata dilindungi dengan cara ditutup oleh kapas. Proses ini memakan waktu kurang lebih 10 menit.

What did I feel after do this treatment?
Amazing!! Hasilnya langsung terlihat setelah selesai treatment. Kulit menjadi bersih, cerah dan tidak kusam lagi. Selain itu kulit juga terasa sangat lembab. Pokoknya aku puas banget deh dengan 2 treatment ini, and it's really recommended.

Tapi karena melihat kandungannya yang aman dan bebas dari kandungan berbahaya seperti Paraben, Sulfat, Parafin, Pigmen, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, dan sebagainya, aku memutuskan untuk mencoba cleansing foam ini.

The Plant Base Natural Cleansing Foam adalah sabun pembersih wajah organik anti alergi dengan busa yang lembut dan kandungan 15 minyak alami yang mampu membersihkan kotoran tanpa menghilangkan kelembaban dan kekenyalan kulit. Jadi meskipun mengeluarkan banyak busa, cleansing foam ini tidak membuat kulit menjadi kering. Seperti yang kalian bisa lihat pada gambar di atas, tekstrur dari cleansing foam ini sangat lembut, begitu pula dengan busa yang dihasilkan. Cleansing foam dari The Plant Base ini merupakan salah 1 produk dari Nature Solution series yang memang dibuat untuk jenis kulit kering dan sensitif. Dengan kandungan 28,15% ekstrak air bambu, selain sebagai pembersih wajah,  cleansing foam ini juga berfungsi sebagai antioksidan, anti peradangan, dan anti bakteri.

I got new skin problems when I'm going 30, and this is how I treat it (Part 3 : Dry Skin)

It took a quite long time to continue write about this topic, but finally I gonna share with you about how I treat the third skin problem that I had (which also the last one) - dry skin. But before that, make sure you also read the first part (wrinkles) and the second part (pimples and freckles).

Dry skin - like freckles, I had this problem since I was a kid, and it really hard to get rid of it. I've used some skin care that really works to moisturized my skin such as Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, but somehow lately I could see some flaky skin on my face. It's really annoying for me. Dry lips, dry skin, I always have these problems and they always ruin my make up look. No matter how great and expensive make up that I used, it always ended cracked - not smooth at all.

Looking at this situation, I decided to change my skin care and also added some new skincare as recommended by some beauty expert. Here's the list of the new skin care that I use to treat dry skin problem :

• Senka Perfect Whip Collagen in

It was the first time I changed my facial wash after years. I had doubt at first about change this product, because I have a very sensitive skin. I can't use a facial wash with a lot of foam, because it cause my skin get drier and feels very tight. Even sometimes, a facial wash with a very "strong" ingredients can irritate my skin and it's uncomfortable. Therefore, when I found a facial wash that didn't make my skin dry, I'll keep using it and never thought to change it with other cleansing product.

However, lately I decided to change my facial wash because the sign of aging on my skin is getting worse. I need a "boost" of collagen to keep my skin stay young. Collagen has a lot of benefit for skin - hydrating, firming, anti aging, and many more. When I found Senka Perfect Whip Collagen in Japan, I was really excited and gave a big expectation to this facial wash. Looking at its function, I realized this facial wash is not only clean my face, but it also give collagen which is good to get rid the sign of aging. Well, this facial wash works as I was expecting. Even though it has a lot of foam, but it doesn't make my skin feels tight and get drier after the usage. It's been 2 months after use this facial wash. Even though I still haven't feel the benefit of collagen, but I wish it will show a good changes soon.

• Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum ex

Sulwhasoo is a famous luxury skincare brand from Korea. They use natural ingredients as their main ingredients, and the benefit has been proven by many people. Among their products, there's one product which become their bestseller and always recommended to keep your skin hydrated. It's Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum Ex. When I heard about it at the first time, I thought it works as other serum. But it's not. It works as a booster for the next skin care that you use. So after use this, you still need to use other serum on your skincare routine.

Basically, it has the same function with SK II Facial Treatment Essence and Laneige Clear-C Advanced Effector EX , which is for boost the next skincare so it can work optimally. Besides as a booster, this serum also can be used to hydrated your skin. I just knew about it after read this article by Chriselle Lim.

Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum ex has a "thick" texture - not watery like at essence. But it's not as thick as cream, so it can absorbed easily after we use it on our skin. This texture makes it more hydrating than using other essence.

• Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

It's a new product that I use to treat a dry skin problem, and I'm pretty sure you already know about it. This gel is very popular because it can be used for everything. Not just for hydrates your skin (face and body), but it also magically can be used to make your eyelashes grow longer. At first I didn't interested with this product because it's a Korean medium - low brand which sometimes didn't show any changes on me. But I was desperately to find a good skincare to hydrates my skin, and I decided to give it a try. Well, I didn't dissapointed at all. I used it every night after serum as a night cream, and it really hydrates my skin without make it feel greasy. I like its cooling sensation, which can makes me feel relax at the night time.

Looking at the list above, you'll realize that all of them are Asian beauty products. After a long research, I just knew that Asian people love to make their skin extra hydrated. Especially for Japanese and Korean people, which have an extremely cold weather during winter. It's the reason why their products are perfect to treat dry skin problem.

Well, those are products that I used to hydrates my skin. Beside that, I also use some extra skincare such as Laneige Water Sleeping Mask Lavender, Saborino sheet mask, Fresh Rose Face Mask, and also Fresh Sugar Face Polish. Using mask at least twice a week really helps to hydrate your skin. When I feel my skin is very dry and need a special treatment, I used one of them to restore the hydration on my skin.

The best exfoliating toner to get rid of pimples

Welcome to the part 2 of this topic. This time I'll write about the skin problems which really confusing me - pimples and freckles. Why is it so confusing? It's because of 2 reasons :

1. I never have any problems with pimples in my whole life, so I have no idea how to treat it wisely. I only had some pimples when it's my "period time" or when I tried new skincare which not suitable on my skin. But those pimples, will be gone soon - unlike the new pimples that never gone for more than 2 months.

2. Freckles (dark spot) always be my problem since I was a kid. I got my first freckles at 10 years old, and I still haven't found any products that could get rid of them. All I know the only way to get rid of this dark spot by doing a laser treatment, and I'm not brave enough to do it. Now, suddenly, these freckles appear a lot, on my cheek bones. Well, it's not as "dark" as my previous freckles, so I only can see these freckles at the very bright place. Even though these freckles still could be covered with foundation and concealer, but I feel very inconvenient to have it. Because my goal is having a clear - glass skin.

How do I treat pimples and freckles???

Pimples
This is the most confusing problems because I'm not friendly with skincare for acne prone. Besides, I also afraid if I change my skin care into products for acne prone, it will make my dry skin getting worse - because usually acne prone identic with oily skin. I've found a great skin care - a toner precisely- which really effective to get rid of pimples. It's Some By Mi 30 Days Miracle Toner. I've used this exfoliating toner since last year, and it makes my pimple gone at the very short time. However, I just found out this toner has ingredients which not supposed to be used under the sunlight. The usage of this toner under the sunlight will cause appearance of dark spots. Therefore, I just use it at my night skin care routine.

At this moment, I need a toner for morning use and I have no idea what to use. I've tried the bestseller toner - Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Toner, but after use this, pimples kept appear on my face so I stopped it. At the end I heard about a toner with many good reviews, and I directly go to Sephora when I was having holiday in Malaysia to find out about this toner. I'm pretty sure you're all very familiar with this toner - Pixi Glow Tonic. There are 3 versions of Pixi Glow Tonic : the original (with orange color liquid), Rose, and Lavender. I asked the differences between them both, and I was surprised with the answer. She told me the original one contains Glycolic Acid which works to get rid of acne scars. It's totally perfect with what I need right now. The other good thing about this toner is even though it's an exfoliating toner, but it also can hydrate your skin. I have use it for more than a month on my morning skin care routine, and it shows a good progress to get rid of my acne scars.

Freckles
When I say "how to treat it", it doesn't mean I get rid of it all clearly. I just try to find out how to reduce the appearance, because freckles can't be gone easily. You need to do a special treatment, within a long period of time. This treatment also not cheap so I'd think twice to do it. While some serum (such as Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum) could be used to reduce dark spots, but it takes a very long time and you need to use it regularly - literally everyday. Meanwhile, at this time I'm using other serum that can get rid of fine lines - which is the main problem on my skin right now.

So, how do I treat this freckles? I tried to prevent the appearance of other new dark spots, by protecting my skin with sunscreen. I know and everybody know that sunlight is the main reason for the appearance of dark spots, and we need to protect our skin from this harmful light. However, I don't like - precisely hate - to using sunscreen because they have a greasy and oily texture. They can be absorbed on skin perfectly and will ruin my make up look. For this reason, I live for 27 years without using any sunscreen, even though I live at the tropical country - Indonesia.

The best Japanese sunscreen : Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence

Lately, I heard some good reviews about a sunscreen from Japanese drugstore - Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence. It's nominated as the best sunscreen because it has a very light texture and won't leave any greasy feeling after using it. Well, I didn't trust it easily because I'm not familiar with Japan Cosme and I didn't want to waste my money to buy another sunscreen which I'm not gonna use, and it just ended at the rubish bin like the other sunscreen. However, looking at my skin condition with many freckles makes me sad and I decided to give it a try. Actually I've been looking for this sunscreen since last March, when I was having holiday in Japan. But with many things to buy in Japan, I was forgot to buy this sunscreen, and start to remember it again when I was in Kuala Lumpur. At that moment, I found it at Watsons Malaysia where you can found any kind of the popular Japanese products. I've tried the sunscreen, and it has a texture like other people said. It's very light and not leave any greasy feeling like I found at other sunscreen. Ever since then, I never forget to use sunscreen every morning and I also told Aurelia to use this sunscreen, to prevent the appearance of dark spots on the face.
